When she started working in the financial sector out of university, Reni Odetoyinbo, a.k.a. “xoReni,” noticed the majority of her workplace peers were white males. After she bought her own house at the age of 23, Reni has made it her mission to make financial knowledge more accessible to women and the BIPOC community through her YouTube channel. Narcity spoke to Reni as part of an in-depth series that looks at Canadian women YouTubers who are offering resources and entertainment in spaces where women are often under-represented.
